South Antrim Football League Round Up 26/01/13
GLASTON have been top of the Premier Division since early in the season and they remain a comfortable four points clear at the top, but three other teams are firmly in contention.
Sandy Row's recent win over the champions, Ballymacash YM, propelled them to just four points behind Glaston with both having played 12 matches and though there is a gap of six points back to the third-placed team the race remains wide open.
Sporting Lisburn have a match in hand over the leaders and Ballymacash, also ten points back from Glaston, have three games in hand, though three wins would still leave them a point behind. Down at the bottom it is First Lisburn 6 points, Bloomfield III 4 and Victoria Ath minus 2 though the latter have played three less games.
Five teams remain in the Diviion 1 promotion chase. FC Utd Lisburn are top with 29 points but have played three more matches than Orangefield OB III who have 28. Warren YM and South Antrim are three points further back with two and three games respectively less played. Sporting Lisburn II are only a point adrift, having played the same matches as Warren.
