South Antrim Football League Round Up 08/09/12

A LATE goal from Chris Richmond gave Ballymacash YM a 4-3 home win over Braniel YM in the Premier Division and Glaston had five different scorers when they beat Sporting Lisburn, who had two players sent off, 5-2. Colin Valley III also needed a late goal to beat Ballynafeigh YM 3-2. 

Pinar Maguire got a hat-trick in South Antrim's 7-3 win in Division 1 over Sporting Lisburn II, who were level 3-3 at half-time and FC Utd Lisburn pushed Warren YM all the way before losing 1-2.  Nathan Dodds got two of the Belvoir II goals in a 4-3 win over Lisburn Rangers III and Orangefield OB III opened their campaign with a 4-1 victory against Lisburn Athletic.

Victoria Athletic are through to the second round of the Ironside Cup after a 6-5 penalty shoot-out win over First Lisburn. The match ended 1-1. Colin Halliday got two of the goals as Sandy Row hit seven without reply against Ballymacash YM II.  Belvoir FC scored both goals in the first-half when they beat Lambeg Star 2-0, Glenavy III recovered from a heavy defeat to beat Roseville 2-1, Christopher McCleery scored three in Bloomfield III's 11-1 romp against Cregagh Wanderers and Lambeg Rangers received a walkover against Dunmurry Inn.
