It was certainly the late late show from Carniny but Ballynure will look back and wonder how they lost a game they led for sixty minutes. Ballynure went in front on the 27th minute then as half-time approached both teams had a man sent off for falling out with each other.

Ballynure continued to lead and though there were chances for both teams to score Carniny did not get back level until Barry Hamill scored on the 87th minute. As the game then went into to stoppage time Carniny were awarded a penalty which was successfully converted by Michael O’Mullan on the 93rd minute to win the game for Carniny.
