Dunloy started off well and took the lead on the 16th minute with a goal scored by Kevin McAllister. Carniny came back into the game but failed to take a clear chance before Kevin McQuillan scored making it two nil for Dunloy on the 34th minute. Half-time saw Dunloy still have the two goal cushion which increased after Cahal Higgins scored on the 55th minute a lead which Dunloy held until the final whistle.  Referee Mr. Damian Page
