Castle from Junior Division Two gave a very good account of themselves particularly in the first- half when they held Carniny but ran out of steam a bit during the final half-hour when Carniny score five goals. Carniny went in front after Dean Magill scored on the 10th minute then Castle came back to equalise with Andy Hall scoring on the 17th minute. Ciaran McGarry put Carniny back in front on the 26th minute but back came the Castle with a second equaliser scored by Joe Lough on the 34th minute and minute s later castle were down to ten men having a man sent off.

Half-time saw the teams still level but with the extra man Carniny went on to score six more goals by Ryan Wilkinson 51st, 61st and 67th minutes and David Hanna on the 53rd, 80th and 82nd minutes.
