Both teams more or less cancelled each other out in the middle during the first-half thus there were few clear cut scoring chances with the scoreline blank at half-time. Things changed in the second half with the Sky Blues taking the lead after Kieran Monaghan scored on the 55th minute. Carniny then had a good spell of attacking play after this but the Sky Blues held firm at the back then sealed the win after Tomas Beattie scored on the 82nd minute. With the final whistle almost reached Carniny had a man sent off.
