South Antrim Football League Round Up 14/01/12
BRANIEL YM twice came back from behind to earn a 3-3 draw away to Glaston in the Premier Division of the South Antrim League.
Goals from Paul McCann and Liam Halliday were cancelled out by Phil Kincaid and Lee Laverty. McCann restored Glaston's lead but Blaine McMillan equalised to set up a rousing last 20 minutes.
Ballymacash YM won 8-0 at home to Ashfield Athletic with midfielder, Adam Rodgers, grabbing a hat-trick. Lambeg Rangers beat local rivals, Lambeg Star 6-1, Sporting Lisburn won 2-0 at home to Belvoir FC and Bloomfield III and Ballynafeigh YM fought out a 1-1 draw.
In Division 1, Moira Albion II tossed away a 3-0 and 4-3 lead before settling for a 4-4 draw with Ballymacash II, while fancied Colin Valley III eased past Dunmurry Inn 9-3.
First Lisburn stayed in the promotion hunt with a 2-1 win over Glenavy II and South Antrim are thereabouts following a 4-0 victory away to Warren YM II. There were wins for Orangefield OB III over local rivals, Braniel II, Lambeg Rangers II against Roseville and Belvoir II at home to Sporting Lisburn II.
