INTERMEDIATE DIVISION
CLOUGH RANGERS ATHLETIC 3 DUNLOY 2
Dunloy got an early set back in this game when with the scoreline blank they were reduced to ten men after having a man sent off after 20 minutes. Soon after this Ricky Nicholl opened the scoring for Clough and then a second goal scored by David Nicholl saw Clough two goals clear after 32 minutes. Half-time was almost reached when Adie McDonald made it three nil for Clough on the 39th minute. The second half saw Dunloy re-organise and late in the game Conor McKinley scored on the 78th minute this goal being followed by a second scored by Kevin McAllister on the 82nd minute. Dunloy then threw everyone forward in an effort to save the game but their chances went after they had a second player sent off in the game. Referee Mr. Colin Rainey
NEWTOWNE 6 FC BALLYNURE 0
The big win for Newtowne was a bit harsh on Ballynure who if they had taken a chance or two may have been closer to Newtowne at the end of the game. Conor O’Hara headed Newtowne in front on the 10th minute and this goal was followed by a second scored by Gary Moore on the 30th minute. Ryan Logue then scored on the 35th minute giving Newtowne a three goal cushion at half-time. Gary Moore scored his second goal on the 60th minute then Ballynure had a couple of good chances to score. Time was then running out when Matthew Ferris scored on the 80th minute and Andy Ferris scored on the 85th minute though Newtowne suffered a blow having two men sent off in the dying minutes of the game. McREYNOLDS CUP ROUND ONE
BRANTWOOD 3 RASHARKIN UNITED 1
Brantwood progressed to the next round of the competition with this win in a game they took the lead in after Aidan Hanna scored on the 4th minute. Rasharkin came back to equalise through a well taken goal scored by Sammy McConaghie on the 7th minute and this score remained until Steven Bainbridge scored for Brantwood on the 70th minute. Rasharkin then had to chase the game and this led to them getting caught on the 79th minute when Ciaran Carson nipped through to score number three for Brantwood.

RACEVIEW 4 BALLYNURE OLD BOYS 5 After Penalties
There was nothing to separate these two teams and it took a penalty soot-out to decide the result of the game. Ballynure took the lead on the 13th minute when Terry Lyness scored. Chances then came and went for both teams before Colin Craig scored the equaliser for Raceview on the 76th minute. No more goals were scored after this and penalties were taken after extra time which Ballynure win by four goals to three. Referee Mr. John Deighan
DEARETMARTIN 5 CARNINY AMATEURS 6 After Penalties
Penalties were the order of the day to decide this tie after the teams were locked together at one each after extra time. Carniny started off well and went in front after dean Magill scored on the 26th minute and at half-time this goal separated the teams. The second half saw Desertmartin go all-out for the equaliser which came after Robin Patton scored on the 65th minute. Both teams then created a number of chances after this and in extra time but as no more goals were scored it was down to penalty kick shoot-out which Carniny won by five to four. DIVISION ONE
GLEBE RANGERS RES 7 MOYOLA PARK OLYMPIC 3
Ian Parkhill shot Glebe in front on the 6th minute but Moyola struck back with Ross McKee scoring on the 10th minute. Ian Parkhill scored his second goal on the 33rd minute and shortly after this Moyola had a man sent off. Moyola then hit back with Eugene O’Neil scoring on the 46th minute followed by Ross McKee scoring his second on the 52nd minute. Ian Parkhill completed his hat-trick on the 58th minute to level the game then goals scored by Gareth Henry 76th, Warren Morrison 85th, Ian Parkhill 88th and Warren Morrison on the 90th minutes won the game for Glebe. MALLUSK ATHLETIC 0 TOBERMORE UTD RES 2
It goals that win games and in this game and in this game Tobermore took their chances as against Mallusk who failed to make the most of theirs. The first goal in the game came on the 30th minute with William Hassan on the mark for Tobermore and at half-time this goal separated the teams. The second half followed a similar pattern as the first but no goals were scored until the 90th minute when William Hassan scored his second goal in the game. Referee Mr Billy Guiller
KILLYMOON RANGERS RES 2 DESERTMARTIN SWIFTS 0
Both teams tended to cancel each other moves within the first forty five minutes resulting in no goals being scored in the first-half. The second half was similar at the start then on the 66th minute Marc Harkness broke the deadlock when he scored for the home side. Desertmartin then had to chase the game but Killymoon held firm and sealed the game when Paul Redford scored on the 90th minute. Referee Mr. Mark O’Neil
LARNE OLYMPIC 3 CHIMNEY CORNER RES 1
Larne were early into their stride in this game taking the lead after Lee Holden scored on the 15th minute but then the game slowed down and at half-time the single goal separated the teams. The Corner then got back on level terms with a goal scored by Johnny Graham on the 70th minute. The goal got Larne going again and goals scored by Dylan Monaghan and Scott Morris on the 75th and 80th minutes sealed the win for the Olympic. Referee Mr. Brian Leitch
BALLYCLARE COMRADES RES 5 MAGHERAFELT SKY BLUE RES 1
Ballyclare went in at half-time leading by two goals scored by Jay Boyd and Paudie Lynch against nil from the sky Blues. Early in the second half James Bateson gave the Sky Blues hope after he scored but this hope faded when Dave Higgins scored a third goal for the Comrades. As time was then rolling down two more goals score by Matt Boyd and Niall McErlean ensured the win for the Comrades. Referee Mr. Jason Reaney

WOODLANDS 2 FC LARNE 0
Woodlands good run of form continued with this win but for once Larne failed to take any of the chances they created. Stevie grant opened the scoring for Woodlands though both teams had several chances to score prior to this goal. Stevie Grant than scored his second goal in the game to complete a good win for his team. Referee Mr. Tom Stewart
FINVOY 1 COOKSTOWN OLYMPIC 3
Both teams tended to cancel each other out during the first forty minutes and when half-time was approaching an own goal concede by Finvoy saw the Olympic in front at the break. Early in the second half Dean Campbell made it two nil for the visitors but five minute later Robert Patton pulled a goal back for Finvoy. The Olympic continued to push forward and on the 65th minute got their all important third goal scored by Liam Hoy. Referee Mr. Ian Getty
WAKEHURST STROLLERS 4 RED STAR 1
Wakehurst started off well taking the lead after Lee McCaughern scored on the 16th minute this goal then being followed by a second scored by Jason Johnston on the 18th minute. Half-time saw Wakehurst still two goals in front then this became three after Jon Alexander scored on the 66th minute. Red Star pulled a goal back through Mr. Noel O’Connor on the 71st minute then a second goal scored by Jason Johnston on the 80th minute sealed the home win. Referee Mr. Ian Shiels
DIVISION THREE
FC BALLYNURE YM 1 CARRICKFERGUS YOUNG CITIZENS 2
This was a good game for the entire ninety minutes and possibly a draw would have been fair to both teams but no doubt the Citizens were happy with the win. The Young Citizens took the lead after Michael Rankin scored and then went on to double their lead when Ricky Coulter scored giving them a two goal cushion at half-time. Ballynure got back into the game after Ciaran Murphy converted a penalty on the 50th minute and from then on went all-out for the equaliser which never came though the Citizens goals had a few narrow escapes. CASTLE STAR 7 METRO YM 3
This was a second high scoring win for the castle on the trot having beaten 1st Mossley the previous Saturday. Castle had a four goal lead at half-time thanks to goals scored by Jonny Fulton, Dean Martin 2 and Michael Dallas. Michael Dallas scored his second goal early in the second half making it five nil but two goals scored by Paul Crozier saw Metro back in the game. An own goal saw Castle go four goals in front and a penalty converted by Scott McReynolds made it five before Andy McIlrath scored a third for Metro late in the game. Referee Mr. Trevor Higgins
REMO FC 3 14th NEWTOWNABBEY 4
This was a very close game between the two neighbours who both play their games at Threemilewater and at the end it was the odd goal in seven that won the day for Newtownabbey. Newtownabbey goals were scored by Jonny Robinson 2, Stevie Gilmore and Brian Miller with Matthew McCallen, Sam Forde and Tommy Smyth replying for Remo. Referee Mr. Harry Dunseith
1st MOSSLEY YM 0 ENCORE FC 1
This was a second league defeat on the trot for Mossley who had won their previous ten league games while only conceding ten goals in the process but Encore will look back on a very good win. Chances were created by both teams during the first-half but no goals were scored and the second half was similar, then with time running down Brian Wilkinson struck with a very important goal for Encore on the 81st minute to win the game. CRAWFORD CUP ROUND 3
ANTRIM ROVERS 4 BALLYCLARE NORTH END 0
The Rovers took an early lead in this game after Craig Evans scored on the 2nd minute this being followed by a second goal scored by Tommy Bownes on the 19th minute. After this North End came well into the game but unfortunately could not finish off their best attacking moves. Time was then almost up when Darryl Brammeld converted a penalty for the Rovers on the 86th minute and Craig Evans scored his second goal on the 89th minute capping off a good Rovers display. GRANGE RANGERS II 4 CARNLOUGH SWIFTS 0
Grange had a man sent off on the 20thminute but this did not seem to affect them though it was the 41st minute before Derek McComb shot them into the lead. The young Swifts teams tied hard to get back into the game but two goals scored by Joel Cromie on the 65th and 76th minute killed off their hopes of saving the game. The Rangers then sealed the win after Keith Anderson scored on the 82nd minute. Referee Mr. John Young
3RD BALLYCLARE OLD BOYS 3 CARNINY AMATEURS II 1
Both teams had chances to score before Jon Gracey scored the first goal in the game on the 40th minute to put the Old Boys in front at half-time. Ton grace then scored his second goal on the 47th minute thus Carniny had to chase the game which then saw them get caught when Jon Davey scored a third goal for the Old Boys on the 75th minute. Carniny to their credit never gave up getting a deserved goal when Dean Surgenor scored on the 79th minute. Referee Mr. Samuel Forsythe

BALLYNURE OLD BOYS ‘B’ 3 CARNMONEY FC 4 After Extra Time
This was a cracking cup tie which saw Carnmoney come back twice from two goals down. Ballynure took the lead after David Johnston scored and then doubled this with a second goal scored by David Johnston giving then a two goal cushion at half-time. Early in the second half Ricky Thompson scored for Carnmoney on the 55th minute but a third goal for Ballynure scored by Ryan Davey saw them go two in front again. Ian Kerr making his debut for Carnmoney then converted a penalty on the 65thminute and a second goal score by Ricky Thompson on the 78th minute saw the teams back level. With no more goals scored in normal time extra time was played with the winning goal being scored by Ian Kerr on the 2nd minute of the second period.
