Colin Valley u18's
2010-2011 - south Belfast u17 league
this team was brought together by myself in the summer of 2010 with players from all over west belfast. not only did they not even know each other but a lot of them didnt even know that the club had exsisted.
We decided to enter them into the south belfast league in the under 17 section were we finished mid-table in the first division. A very respectful position i thought as per above this was there first season together.AKA HALLSY

1st game of season
Colin Valley u18 v Creagh Wanderers u18
Score was 7-1 to Colin Valley
Great performance from the boys, think pre-season has been good for them with playing teams like DC and Cliftonville and others, has made them a very strong side to deal with. Creagh wanderers just couldnt cope in this game as everytime we went forward we looked like scoring. Good luck for season Creagh.
Goals from Gary Lennon, Patrick Meenan, Ryan Loughran, Adam Jones and Peter Dixon got 2

Game 2
Shankill FC u18 2 v Colin Valley u18 1
Great game off football with both teams going for it from the word go - Shankill went 1-0 with their first attack midway through the 1st half after lots of pressure from Valley. They held onto their lead until 10 mins to go when they got a dubious pen awarded to make it 2-0 but the lads kept going and where rewarded with a goal in the dying mins, final score 2-1
Goal came from Chris Ferguson
Good game with good standard of football esp with it only being the 2nd game.
Best of luck shankill and well see you in the return fixture at Valley parkLast edited by HALL29; 15-09-2011 at 09:07.

Game 3
Colin Valley 3 v St Marys 2
Another fine preformance from my lads, showed a lot of character to come back twice to secure the points from a hard fought game of football.
Game started off with us being guilty of missing chances, should have scored at least 2 goals in first 10-15 mins, however same old story with us with st marys scoring with their first chance with a shot of the post falling to their striker (who was prob their best player), we did come back with the equaliser just before half time.
2 Changes at half time with regular players Gary Lennon and Caolan Dornan coming on and changing the game, lots of pressure from us and the game changed our way - made a super sub with Ryan Loughran coming on and scoring within 20 secs on the field, however st marys striker going up and scoring a wonder goal - st marys thought they where back in game however with same pressure and with both teams going for the win my boys done us all proud by scoring with only a few mins to go
Final score 3-2 Colin Valley
Goals - Gary Lennon 2, Ryan Loughran
Best of luck for season St Marys.Last edited by HALL29; 30-09-2011 at 08:31.
