I think Silva's the boy, he's had a few lacklustre performances but when he's on his game nobody can compete. GSP is also a super fighter but he's a bit more limited in what he can do, always just shooting for a takedown and grounding and pounding. I think that's why we've not seen a fight between the 2, given the 20lb difference in welter to middleweight in the UFC, he would lose his strength advantage coming up to face Silva and that would nullify his gameplan and he would lose a wide decision or be stopped. Silva needs to go to 205 and face Shogun. Away from the UFC, Fedor Emelianenko is touted by many as the best MMA fighter of all time and he's only suffered 1 legitimate loss his whole career, but he won't get the exposure until he comes over to the UFC.

I know it is, but it still looks the like it. Most of the matches involve a lotta grapping and holding on the floor which is when you reach for the sky remote and change channel

Of all time, taking their whole careers into account, Fedor pips Anderson in my opinion due to Silva being submitted by a few scrubs in Pride, but at the minute Anderson is the best. Fedor has done fine without the UFC as heavyweights is the only division that it's never had the best collection of fighters in, even now I'd only consider Velasquez to be in the top 4 heavyweights. Fedor is fighting tomorrow night in the first round of the Strikeforce Grand Prix, can't wait!

GSP is third & if he beats Shields next he's moving up to fight Anderson, though he'll probably get tooled due to reach,it'll be one of the biggest fights ever in MMA. I'd also love to see a Sonnen-Silva rematch as Sonnen dominated him for 23mins before getting subbed.

this could be why: According to California State Athletic Commission Executive Officer George Dodd, Chael Sonnen has been notified that he failed post-fight drug screening following his loss to Anderson Silva at UFC 117.

Aye ano,he tested positive for high testorone then has went and got done for dodgy real estate deals, so it won't be happening for a while but that was one of the best fights ever and saw Silva being battered like never before but he showed his greatness to pull out the sub in the last couple.
