good watch..i was aware of the quinn mcdonagh-joyce malarky.didn`t realise they were all related though.joe joyce fighting the other auld hand was a bit harsh lol...i`d admire their "fair play " in the fights although their was a bit of biting from time to time lol.60 grand a head in the last fight which ended in a draw.paddy doherty was seen flitting in and out of shot a few times.watched a few fights on youtube after it.there one of paddy doherty fighting of the joyces before another one joined on...they left him in some state..his ear was hanging off.apparently he was giving the 1st one a good kicking.

Did you see the first fight with the guy who it was mainly all about? He put your man down about four times in a minute and the guy just wouldn't throw the towel in. The referees were nearly begging him to give up.

Saw the documentary. It was compelling stuff. But couldn't help wondering about what responsibilities the documentary team had when they let the guy who could only see out one eye march back into a swarm of machetes.

Haven't seen the documentary but would say that the documentary team had no obligation to stop filming just coz some hardass decided to get his head stoved in. Possible that the Hawthorne effect (object modifies behaviour due to an awareness of being filmed/observed) clouded his judgment and he might not have done so if the film crew was not there but, going by what everyone else seems to be saying, he was probably crazy enough to go back anyway!
