my take on it would be ,after all the injuries , fcuk ups and set backs to date this season ie 6-1,basle,palace,blackburn ,we`re in a great position to push for an unprecedented 20th title.city look down all of a sudden but by no means out.they`ll enjoy the return of their missing players. we`ve also quality players returning to fitness and who should be fresh for sqeaky bum time .valencias playing really well, carrick and evra are in as good as form as they have been in a few seasons and with paul scholes back in the fold his experience could be the edge we need.de gea and the absence of vidic could tilt it the other way.that, and of course if city find their feet and string together a run of wins which is also very possible
considering hansen reckons we haven`t played well for 18 months and lee dixon reckons we weren`t the best side in the league last season, we have to be happy with where we`re at in terms of the title.LINFIELD FC....WE`RE FOREVER DOING DOUBLES

The same Evra who sold the ship to Kuyt for his winning goal on Saturday??!
United to be fair to them have a manor no other team has of grinding out results when they aren't playing well, this United team is poor in comparasion to previous teams but the are still challenging for titles.

bar that evra was excellent and has been recently.they`re a different style of team to the swashbuckling side of 99 for example or the goal threat offered by rooney ronaldo and tevez .but this united side can control games as well as any of the previous teams.i personally think they can be a bit one paced in their play at times and can be too methodical .but they`ve also had as good a team performances at as any other united side on occassions.home to chelsea last season when valencia tore ashley cole a new arsehole would be a great example of that.

I'd love to know who Dixon thought was the best team in prem league last season, while United where far from dominant in the league, the rest where poor in cmparasion and they made the Champ lge final. I reckon he thinks it was Arsenal, but Hansen interrupted him and he never finished what he was saying.

we r lucky to be where we are at the mo, i think it gives us a false sense of achievement. as much as id love to win the lge, if we do, fergie may well continue on his stance that the squad is strong enough to compete. maybe, with a bit of luck and top players on form (and de gea retiring) we can compete in the lge and would be up there towards the end of the season, however, the squad aint strong enough to compete on all fronts - which is something we should be doing.
catch 22 - if we win, we dont spend. if we lose then the evil powers of city provail but we do spend.
btw i still very much think its city's to throw awayYOUYOUJAY
