Bellamy was immense, showed Mancini exactly what he was missing. City aren't nearly the same team without Toure. Joe Hart will become the worlds best when Gigi Buffon retires, no doubt about it. Lads a smasher!

Just think dak if united had somebody good enough to man mark him then maybe he wouldn't have run amok at OT when they hit use for six :p

If the one in Dzeko happened outside the box he would defo have given a free kick so thought it was a pen. Not too many players appealed it though

I think both were pens. Richards dives in with both hands up and thats a risky business as u also get a free kick for that anywhere else on the pitch. Citys definate pen but Liverpool thankfully got away with it.

I disagree mate, he's blocked it with his feet first. Yes his arms arent in there natural position but when the ball deflects against you and then hits your arm and the referee gives a penalty then your going to be feel hard done by. I know if it happened me, or you for that matter on a Saturday you'd hit the roof.

So what happens if the ball was heading into goal after the deflection from his feet. Its a free kick all day long as anywhere else on the pitch if the ball hits your hand(even if by ur side) and it provides u with an advantage its a free. I agree its harsh but I think technically correct which is probably why he didn't even get a booking.

Liverpool's penalty was never a penalty. City should have had one. Overall Liverpool deserved to go through. Hart was great in both games.

Bellamy was outstanding last night too, why Rafa ever let it get to the stage where he wanted to leave is beyond me.

Definitely reminds you of Peter Schmeichel on current form. Could have a big say in Englands Euro campaign this summer.

And he done a great job. Liverpool have no defensive midfielder atm with lucas and spearing out so gerrard played a disciplined game against top quality opposition.
