I haven't switched mine on in a couple of days mate so haven't been affected thankfully. Read in the paper that they hope to have it fixed inside 24hrs, if I wait until they have it fixed then switch it on do you think I might get away with it not happening. Bit of a balls up on Sony's part like.

Yes got the email this morning confirming that the issue has been fixed, if you do encounter any problems with signing into the PSN or Trophy error codes then just do a standard reset on the PS3 and that will counter the problems.
We are aware that the internal clock functionality in the PS3 units other than the slim model, recognized the year 2010 as a leap year. Having the internal clock date change from February 29 to March 1 (both GMT), we have verified that the symptoms are now resolved and that users are able to use their PS3 normally. If the time displayed on the XMB is still incorrect, users are able to adjust time settings manually or via the internet. If we have new information, we will update you through PlayStation.Blog or PlayStation.com.Last edited by gaz6; 02-03-2010 at 12:22.
