Default Mobile Tablets - iPad or Android

Thinking of getting either the iPad or something like the Galaxy Tab.

Anyone got one and what do you think. With work these days clamping down on internet access and needed to het quick access to the site I need something portable but bigger than a phone.

at the min i would say an Android Tablet, WebOs and Ipad are very similar so it would come down to personal choice, critics say that ipad wins not because its technically better but because its App store is the best in the world. Apple's App store is miles ahead of anything that Microsoft and Google offer.

A few reviews etc that I have seen seem to have them both level pegging, one device is better than the others in certain areas. Just have to get my hands on one to give it a blast, but will probably wait until the new ones come out.

Think it will come down to price, though from seeing video reviews on both the iPad2 and Samsung 10.1, the iPad looks sweet.

Scott, are you looking for the latest and greatest or just something that will do the job?
Obviously with the launch of the iPad v2, the original iPads are seriously reduced in price. It is still very functional and has access to all the Apple apps etc.
Just depends if you need one that has all the bells and whistles or not.
