if your on about the dongle that networks like O2, Vodafone and Orange sell then no, it wont work. You can use a USB dongle that has come with a wireless router kit.

Pretty sure you can,but in a round about way and the quality will depend on the connection.

What you need to do is have ur dongle plugged into your computer/laptop then connect your computer to the Xbox using an Ethernet cable.

Once it is connected, go to Network Connections on the pc and right click on the connection and click properties. Then under the advanced tab, check the box that is something like 'allow other computers to share this connection' or something similar. Restart both the computer and Xbox then it should work.

i have never heard of a 3G Dongle being used this way but if it can be done then fair dues, though the online lag consistency of a game in my opinion would be shocking and i would also think due to the bandwidth limits that some games might not even let you connect to their servers.

I've never tried it with a dongle, but its the way I used to have my Xbox set up before I had the wireless adapter so I didn't have to have a direct connection from the Xbox to modem.

I agree I can see it being laggy as ****, but still worth a try.

I don't think CoD on consoles runs of servers. The (supposedly best) host is chosen in the lobby and the game then runs off their internet connection so any lag comes from there . I haven't had too much problem with lag on Black Ops, no more so than any other game.

i was being sarcastic, couldn't find a simley to put at the end. I am sure the P2P side of things for the xbox version of the game are dead on but as for the PS3, its just pure shit.
